Tia Rey’s BIG SEXY CABARET

Its The Big Sexy Cabaret at Polo Lounge!

Featuring exquisite drag, burlesque, music, comedy, performance art and all sorts of other things designed to make you go “yes, now is a big sexy time for me!”

Here is the smoking hot line-up for the first show:

Hosted by Tia Rey
Tia Boyd (aka Tia Rey) is a Glaswegian-Arab trans storyteller (name another!) known for high-energy chaos and sharp daftness. Identifying as queerodivergent, she blends surreal humour with emotional honesty. Her show Oot Ma Banger is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe after a sold-out Glasgow run.

Anna Secret Poet
Anna Secret Poet is a musician, model and poet from Glasgow who has been defying genders, genres and expectations on various stages up and down the UK since 2016. As well as once appearing in a Del Amitri video and releasing far too many albums she also published a book in 2024 entitled ‘Songs About Eyebrows, Biscuits & Sausages’. You can purchase it via her Bandcamp page. Follow her on social meeds for news and up to date ramblings or stream her music from the app of your choice!

Bliss Wilde
Bliss Wilde is a multi-disciplinary performance artist based in Glasgow, Scotland.  She has worked internationally in burlesque for over a decade and prides herself on being just as versatile as she is entertaining.  Some highlights of her career involve winning Miss Scottish Pinup and the British Crown at the World Burlesque Games.  She is the host of the Scottish Tattoo Convention and even joined the band Space on stage to fan dance to their hit  ‘Female of the Species’. Both sexy and satirical in her performances, Bliss is guaranteed to drive you WILDE!

Mebd
Born in Canada under the sign of Taurus, and raised by two singer-songwriters in post-conflict Northern Ireland, medb cut her teeth on tumblr bedroom pop to emerge as the multi-faceted creative powerhouse we all know and love. With a personality that is part Edie Sedgwick, part Virgin Mary, part Kylie Jenner, and a distinctive sound that has been likened to The Shop Assistants, Le Tigre, and Alvvays, you’ll know you’re listening to medb when an indescribable pang of nostalgia takes over your soul.

Charlotte Mae
Mae is a newly-divorced mother of two from Edinburgh who uses sharp, observational comedy and straight-talking feminist views (with a twist) to unpack modern life, motherhood, dating, and everything in between. From one perspective flirty with the audience yet fiery she reels them in. Drawing on her own ups and downs, she delivers honest, self-aware humour that’s relatable and quietly fearless – finding the funny in situations most people are trying to survive. One to watch.

Seaglass & Featherstone
Seaglass & Featherstone are an internationally touring burlesque/comedy double-act, comprised of multimedia comedian Gabriel Featherstone and burlesque icon Seaglass Beach. They have performed two shows together: Curse of The Black Seal, which is an occult-themed comedy musical about a magic seal, a generational curse and a sexually suggestive Gruffalo scenario at Chessington World of Adventures, and Office of Obscenity, which is an interactive office-themed game show featuring zany games, dangerously catchy songs, and grotesque mutant freaks.
